For the time being this will be what I can provide concerning information about my band activities.
Due to my recent imigration to the beautiful hilly mountainside of Dalarna Sweden, my musical relations does not yet give me much more to write about though serious band oppotunities are plenty and the musical skills and great talent is overwhelmingly present here. So wait and see, come back and I'll keep you posted.

DONAHUE MORTER FALCK TRIO Take an award winning guitarist, a respected singer/songwriter, a multi instrumentalist, and what you get is an evening of musical fireworks. From searing instrumentals, to lilting ballads, foot tapping fiddle tunes and blues guitar, celtic swing to country rock, in fact the whole spectrum of what is best in roots music. Not trying to capture any one particular thing, but relying on their joint musical experiences, these three well seasoned musicians, have created a repertoire that appeals to all audiences.

JERRY DONAHUE as the late, great Danny Gatton called him, is "the string bending king of the planet". You don't get endorsed by three of the largest guitar manufacturers in the world by being just good! Or be invited to play with Fairport Convention, Fotheringay, George Harrison, Elton John, Roy Orbison, Chris Rea, Joan Armatrading, Robert Plant, Gerry Rafferty (the list is endless!). A legendary guitarist, who, with his own band, The Hellecasters, has won various awards as best instrumental band worldwide, by magazines in America and Europe. He, himself, has been voted in the top three guitarists worldwide, consistently, over the past decade, by the readers of Guitar Player Magazine. JENS FALCK Multi instrumentalist, as a singer, guitarist, mandolin or violinist, is the first choice amongst the finest in Denmark, played with Alan Olsen (Denmarks most popular singer/songwriter), Ray Sawyer (Dr Hook) whenever touring Denmark/Sweden, Ester Brohus, Djursland Spillemænd,
but in his own right, as leader of The Hawks and Friends,
and The Jens Falck Band, a force in whichever instrument he chooses! And as De Nattergale's julekalender, Norway may remember him as the musician behind the Stovledance!

OLA AMUND GJERSVIK & HELGE NYHEIM The Norvegian ryth'm section. Bergen's finest, Ola Amund Gjersvik, as a bassist,has too many credits to write here, Ole Paus, Kaisers Orchestra,Mick Ronson (Bowie's guitar man) plus his own solo cd's, and so many credits on cd's by so many artists, one could forgive us for not having this man as a soloist in his own right!Plus on drums, Helge Nyheim, best remembered as vocalist/drummer in Animal Farm , plus Trina Rein, Matts Erikson, etc,possibly the best rhythm section we could wish for in Norway!
Visit the ole amund gersvik website.

THEN CAME THE WHEEL is a musical experience, which came out of the friendship between Doug Morter, Alan Thomson, Foster Paterson and Arran Ahmun, when collaborating on projects together, mostly The Backroom Boys, (Doug's band with guitar maestro Jerry Donahue). Alan, Foster, and Arran have, for many years, been the sidemen to Scots
legendary singer/songwriter John Martyn, and already had strong musical links, almost musical telepathy together.
Add the vocal/guitar talents of Doug Morter, plus the multi-instrumental talents of
"new boy" Jens Falck, and you have a roots based feel, that takes influencesn from such diverse areas, from blues to folk/rock, from r&b to jigs and reels,
from latin feel to afro rhythym, from Celtic reggae to jungle rap! Put together two Scots, a Welshman, an Englishman and a Dane, apart from the obvious jokes, the roots of their Anglo/Celtic/Viking ancestry can be heard intertwining with the strong r&b/bluesy songs that form the basis of their new cd , "Covered In White", (All compositions by the various band members)
If you are a fan of the following, you will love this band!!;

Little Feat, Ry Cooder, John Hiatt, Steely Dan, Tom Petty, BB King, Bob Dylan,
drinking, Braveheart, Welsh Rugby, Sailing,
John Martyn, Doug Morter, Alan Thomson, Foster Paterson, Arran Ahmun, Jens Falck , etc etc---
